Saint Paul College Policies & Procedures - Academic Program Closure

The Board of Trustees reserves the right to close or place conditions on a program and shall act on all recommendations for academic program closures initiated by either the Chancellor or College president.

When closure originates from the College, the President shall formally request such closure through the approved online program process. This request includes the following information:

  1. program need
  2. student enrollment trends
  3. placement of graduates
  4. financial exigencies
  5. other factors and data influencing the recommendation of closure.

The request shall include plans for assisting student majors affected by closure to complete the program of study and the impact on faculty and support staff.​
