Saint Paul College Policies & Procedures - Copyright Compliance

Saint Paul College is fully committed to the enforcement of the United States Copyright Law. No student or employee of the college shall knowingly reproduce and/or distribute copyrighted material without first obtaining a written copyright release from the author or author’s representative(s). This policy also prohibits downloading and distributing copyrighted material including, peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing, without the permission of the copyright owner.

Copyrighted materials include but are not limited to, printed articles from publications, TV and radio programs, music performances, movies, songs, photographs, training materials, manual, documentation, text books, software programs, databases, web pages or any other electronic media.

Failure to comply with this policy and U.S. Copyright Law may result in disciplinary action and civil and/or federal legal action against the violator(s).
